The parade is completely free and all the sponsorship proceeds benefit the construction of Space Park (815-817 W Roscoe).  Read the press release.

 

The parade marched along Chicago's hottest entertainment street (Halsted from Belmont to Cornelia) and is one of the city's most renowned Halloween events.  We estimated 40,000 spectators witnessed this creative, fun and entertaining event for the community.  As in past years, we saw costumes from garish to ghoulish worn by adults, pets, and kids.  The costume contest has been a huge success and we anticipate imaginations to run wild again this year. Sponsors are donating cash and prizes.  New this year, judges will select a handful of top entries in various categories and the audience voted on the winner who received a pair of tickets on American Airlines to anywhere in the United States plus other cash and prizes.
