Dear John,

As a reminder, Triangle Neighbors' next meeting is Wednesday, July 9th, at the LVCC offices (867 W Buckingham Lower Level). The meeting begins at 7PM and will last until 8:30PM.

A special thanks goes to Red Ivy for hosting our Annual Meeting in June. And to Shochu for hosting the CLMA Mixer also in June. Both restaurants offered complimentary drinks and appetizers to neighborhood residents.

MEETING AGENDA

We'll have updates from our standing committees and community groups:

PRIDE PARADE - We want your thoughts on how everything went. We are aware of some issues and will be escalating them to the parade organizers and the new 23rd District Commander.
SECURITY CAMERAS - We are working with the police and NAMA to install survellience cameras on Clark and Halsted.
SPACE PARK - We get the Park construction permit this week! Just in time to break ground before the Garden Walk on July 20th.
CHICAGO CUBS - Remember you need your new 383 parking stickers. The Green daily guest passes are expired!
HALLOWEEN PARADE - We continue the 2008 parade planning process and want to discuss the parade route and stage.
44th WARD UPDATES - Blue Bins for Recycling were distributed to Triangle and Garage Numbers posted.
44th WARD CDDC - Contrary to rumors, there are no updates about the proposed Planned Development on Clark/Addison.

ZONING AND LICENSE REQUESTS

The Abbey - The LA night club is interested in renovating the property at Brompton and Halsted.

Margarita Mary's - The team from WineBar/MiniBar (Stu Zirin and John Dalton) will talk about their plans to open "Margarita Mary's" on the 3300 block on Halsted between Nookies and Roscoe's.
