Dear John,
It's with great sadness I report the recent death of Mary
Head, Treasurer of Triangle Neighbors and the person who
arranged for our purchase of Space Park. There will
be a memorial service in her honor at Space Park on Sunday,
September 13th. More details will follow.
As a reminder, there is a CAPS 2331 meeting tomorrow
evening at Nookie's (Buckingham and Halsted) and our next
Triangle meeting is next Wednesday (Sep 9th) at
Roscoe's. Both meetings begin at
7PM.

 HALLOWEEN PARADE
Join us
Halloween Day, Saturday, October 31st for the 13th Annual
Northalsted Halloween Parade.
New this
year we're planning pre-parade activities for kids at
Space Park.
Like last
year, the parade will go from Belmont to Addison on
Halsted and feature thousands of dollars
in prizes to winners of our free costume
contest. There are categories for kids, pets, adults, and
groups. Special prizes will be awarded to those who
dress the "Mad Hatter's Theme".

9/2 (Wed) CAPS 2331 Meeting - Join us
for our monthly CAPS
meeting with the Chicago Police Department to talk about
crime and safety in the Lake View neighborhood. Nookie's
(Buckingham and Halsted) at 7PM.
9/9 (Wed) Triangle Neighbors' Meeting-
Join Triangle
Neighbors, at our new meeting location, Roscoe's (Roscoe
and Halsted) back dance floor for our regular meeting at
7PM.
9/13 (Sun) Memorial
Service for Mary Head - Help us remember Mary
Head, long-time Triangle Neighbor supporter and
Board member, who recently passed away. We'll meet at Space Park.
Details will follow. 9/16 (Wed) and 9/23
(Wed) Halloween Parade Planning Meeting
- With Halloween right around the corner, we
need everyone's help to plan the
