SELVN Meeting on Monday, June 9 at 7
PM
We will welcome Diann Marsalek, new
Lake View Citizens' Council president, who will introduce
herself and talk about upcoming plans for the organization.
Also, we will be discussing the LED sign at Belmont/Broadway
and updates on the Sheridan/Oakdale project and CVS liquor
license. An agenda will be sent later this
week.

Healthy
Find out more about diabetes and
cardiovascular disease (9-10 AM) at this free event. Free
screenings (10 AM - 12 Noon) will include blood pressure,
cholesterol, diabetes, and diabetic retinopathy, which will
be conducted by Laura Concannon, MD. Registration begins at
8:30 AM. Event sponsored by St. Luke Church, Advocate,
Resurrection Health Care, Hispanocare, and Lake View
Citizens'
Council.
Visit over 80
urban gardens throughout the Lake View community.
Complimentary trolley service will be provided. 12 Noon - 5
PM.
