Walk
Join 23rd
District Officers, Alderman Tunney’s Office, Triangle Neighbors,
Northalsted Area Merchants and the 23rd District CAPS team as the
community marches in a one hour show of solidarity with our
neighborhood. Meet at Roscoe and Halsted (7/11 parking lot) at 2 AM
(early Saturday morning).
22-23 August - Lake View Music
Fest
The Lake View
Music Fest offers continuous live music, tastings from area
restaurants, and goods and wares from local merchants. With Wrigley
Field as backdrop, this fifth year event surrounds itself with local
bars and restaurants such as The Cubbie Bear, Harry Carey's, John
Barleycorn, Goose Island Wrigleyville, The Metro and many more. the
proceeds benefit the Lake View Citizens' Council (LVCC). The
entrance donation is $5 until 5 PM and $7 after 5 PM. 12
Noon to 10 PM at Addison and Sheffield.

September - LVCC Mortgage Foreclosure Forum
The LakeView
Citizens' Council (LVCC) will host a panel of speakers including
Judge Jesse Reyes, lawyers and a banker to alert consumers on scams
with counseling services. This free event is presented with the
cooperation of the Illinois Judges Foundation (IJF). If you have
questions on this event, call 773-880-5822 or email outreach@lakeviewcitizens.org. 6:30 PM at Lincoln-Belmont Library, 1659 West
Melrose.
26-27 September - Lakeview Festival of the
Arts
The Lakeview East
Festival of the Arts is Chicago’s premier fine art and fine craft
festival showcasing over 130 juried artists. More than 40,000
attendees are expected to attend this year’s festival. Admission is
free. If you would like to volunteer for this exciting festival,
please email Aurora at aurora@lakevieweast.com.
