Dear John,

We just received notice today that Universal Pictures has increased the number of streets where there will be no parking in Lakeview beginning this evening until the early morning of Thursday, April 3, 2008. This is not an April Fool's Joke.

We have expressed our concern to the Alderman's Office for the lack of advance notification, the number of adjacent streets impacted and the lack of parking alternatives during Cubs opening week.

If you cannot find parking, you are urged to call Universal Pictures at 312-829-7437. They indicated today after talking to Alderman Tunney's office that Universal Pictures will provide alternate parking arrangements for residents and business owners in the effected area.

Please find below the release (verbatim). The film stars Johnny Depp but no word if he will be in Lakeview for the filming.

Both side of Sheffield from Roscoe to 3510 N Sheffield
Both sides of Roscoe from Clark to 845 W Roscoe

"Full Closure" on Newport from Clark to Halsted / However residents will still be allowed access to there home
