Eclectic! Exciting! Non-stop! And a
people-watching extravaganza are just a few of the ways
to characterize the 28th annual Northalsted Market DaysŪ
on Saturday and Sunday, August 1-2, 2009 from 11AM
to 10PM both days. It's the largest two-day street fair
in the Midwest and it just keeps getting bigger and
better each year!
Halsted Street (from Belmont
to Addison) will be lined with 400 food and unique art
& craft vendors and four music stages!
Scheduled to appear are En Vogue, Jody Watley, Kristine
W, Cece Peniston, Kathy Sledge, The Village People,
Eric Himan, Linda Clifford, Dot Dot Dot, Levi Kreis, 16
Candles and more!!!
New this year is VIP
access. For the first time, fest goers can get
closer to the action and their favorite performers,
including headliners En Vogue, Berlin and Jody
Watley!
The Horseshoe Casino VIP stage is the
only stage at the festival offering VIP wristband
access, and due to the placement and structure of the
stage, non-VIP areas offer partially obstructed viewing
of this particular
stage.
