Alderman Gene Schulter will be joined by members of the Tax Reform Action
Coalition and State Representative John Fritchey for a brief press
conference on Monday morning before the City Council Committee on Finance
considers a resolution calling for the Illinois General Assembly to come
together in agreement and extend the 7% Expanded Homeowners Exemption.
Alderman Gene Schulter submitted this resolution to the City Council on
November 12, 2009. The resolution was signed by 48 City Council members.
