E-Citizen Newsletter Serving Lake View Since 1952
December 2008

 LVCC LogoDear John,

On behalf of the Officers and Board of Director's of LVCC, we want to wish you a safe, healthy and happy holiday season.  This year has been an economic challenge for many. Despite the bad economy LVCC was able to purchase 300 pairs of gloves/mittens and hats for underprivileged children in the 19th and 23rd Police Districts -- the police will pass these items out on patrol to children in need. In November we raised $400 for veterans. LVCC also raised money and gathered non perishable food items to donate to the Lake View Pantry.

In 2009 we hope to provide a series of anti-crime forums with the police for residents and businesses in Lake View. LVCC will continue to monitor and address large zoning projects in Lake View. In the spring we are planning a membership drive.  We hope you will pay your 2009 dues and continue your interest in the Lake View community.
Diann Marsalek, President
Lake View Citizens' Council (LVCC)
