For the past 5 years, the Northalsted Area Merchants Association (NAMA) has sponsored Chicago Pride Fest, one of the most well-known festivals of its kind anywhere in the United States. Chicago Pride Fest attracts people of all ages and backgrounds as they gather to celebrate the GLBT community.

 

As NAMA began preparing for the 2009 Chicago Pride Fest, it looked at other Pride festivals around the country to evaluate its own. When NAMA saw what other, smaller cities were doing, they decided it was time to raise the bar on Chicago Pride Fest to keep Chicago at the forefront - and make Chicago Pride Fest the best of its kind anywhere.  As you will see in the survey, NAMA would like to add a second day (Friday from 3PM to 10PM) to this year's activities.

NAMA has asked for the input of residents near where the Chicago Pride Fest is held. Working in conjunction with Belmont Harbor Neighbors (BHN), East Lake View Neighbors (ELVN), and Triangle Neighbors (TNA), we are sending you this survey so you can give LVCC, NAMA and the Aldermen your feedback to help guide plans for this year's Chicago Pride Fest.

Thank you in advance for your participation.  By answering this survey and giving your feedback, you'll help guide NAMA's plans for this year's Chicago Pride Fest.  The results of this survey will be posted to the LVCC Website in the next 2 weeks and you comments will be shared anonymously with NAMA, Alderman Shiller and Alderman Tunney.
