Cubs Playoff Tickets

Enter the lottery for tickets

Registration for a chance to purchase Cubs post-season tickets began last week.  The deadline to register is September 19th.  Winners will be allowed to purchase up to 2 tickets for a single game.  Learn more.

We conducted a survey in August based on stories LVCC was hearing that the Cubs wanted to test either a Friday or Saturday night game at Wrigley in the 2009 season.  775 people responded.  Read the results.

Property Taxes
2nd Installment Bills Not Out

The Cook County Treasurer's Office has posted notice they anticipate the 2nd Installment for 2007 Property taxes will be due November 3rd, 2008.  They have not yet received final figures to print the bills.  Learn more.

Space Park Construction

Triangle Neighbors broke ground last month on the much-anticipated construction of Space Park.  They already installed the water system and are currently working on the wall.  See photos from this weekend's construction dig.
Festival of the Arts
September 13 and 14th

Join us for this free, two-day event with 140 juried artists, musicians, and food vendors.  The 4th Annual event will again be held on Broadway from Belmont to Roscoe.  See the schedule.
