We are happy to report the Lake View Citizens' Council office has moved from 867 W Buckingham to our new location at 3355 N Clark, Chicago, IL 60657. Our new offices are a street-level location and fully handicap accessible. Our phone number (773 880 LVCC) remains the same. Feel free to stop by our new office that we are sharing with Central Lake View Merchants Assocaition (CLMA). (Look for our new signs going up shortly.)

Free Outdoor Summer Movie

Bolt (Rated PG)

Join CLVN, HN and CLMA as they present their annual summer movie for free at Hawthorne School (School and Seminary streets) tomorrow (Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 7:30PM. We will show cartoons before and sell ice cream, popcorn and refreshments benefiting Weisman Park Renovation. Bring your chair and blanket and enjoy the evening with your neighbors!

Bolt, an American White Shepherd, has lived his whole life on the set of his action TV show, where he believes he has superpowers. When separated from the studio by accident, he meets a female alley cat named Mittens and a hamster named Rhino. Along the way, he learns that he doesn't have superpowers and that the show is not real.

Bike Tour of Lake View

Join other residents, Alderman Tom Tunney, 19th and 23rd District officers, Lake View Citizens' Council and Chicago Bicycle Ambassadors on a leisurely 6-mile ride through Lakeview.

Monday, June 15, 2009 at 5:30 P.M. (We will meet at 5:15 P.M. and depart at 5:30 P.M.)
Meet at 1100 W. Waveland (next to the firehouse at Seminary / Waveland)
Helmets are strongly recommended
Taillights/headlights are required after dark
Bring a lock if you are joining us after the ride for refreshments
