Join Lake View Citizens' Council, Triangle Neighbors, Northalsted Area Merchants, the Alderman's Office and the 23rd District CAPS team as the community marches to take back Halsted Street from recent crimes and violence.  Meet at the 7-Eleven parking lot at Roscoe and Halsted at Midnight tonight for a show of solidarity with the Police.  There will be a second meeting time at 2AM (early Saturday morning) for a shorter walk.

 

- Please be aware two separate meetings times have been published and so both times are being supported.  This will also help show continued coverage on the street tonight. 

 

- Consider wearing BLUE to show you are part of the group marching with the Police.  The more unified and organized we look, the more of a deterrent we will be.

 

- If we are large enough, we can break into smaller groups and get more coverage of Halsted and the alleys.

 

- Bring your neighbors!  Bring along your dog.
