us Sunday, February 22nd at Inter-American
School to hear the candidates running for the
vacated U.S. Fifth Congressional seat. The primary
election is March 3, 2009 and the general election on
April 7, 2009. All candidates have been invited to
participate. Each candidate will make a brief opening
statement and then receive questions by a moderator.
Those in attendance will have time to ask
questions. Ben Bradley of Channel 7 WLS will be
the moderator. The candidates who have confirmed are
John Fritchey, Mike Quigley, Sara Feigenholtz, Pat
O'Connor, Jan Donatelli, Frank Annunzio, Paul Bryar, Tom
Hanson, Jon Stewart, Deb Gordils, Mark Frederickson,
Matthew Reichel, Tom Geoghegan, Daniel Kay, and Simon
Ribeiro.

Enhanced neighborhood protections will address parking,
traffic and other quality of life issues, including added
personnel in the neighborhood until 2:30 a.m. These and other
neighborhood protections are the result of discussions with
community leaders and neighborhood
residents. |

purchase up to 4 tickets to the upcoming "Billy Joel /
Elton John" concert at Wrigley Field to be held
on July 21st at 7PM, subject to City and
community approval. Tickets for the concerts are
not yet on sale and will not open to the public until
Saturday, February 14th at 10AM. Check out the

The Chicago Cubs are excited to announce
music legends Billy Joel and Elton John will perform at
Wrigley Field on July 21, 2009 at 7 p.m. While the
team continues to work with community groups and the
Chicago City Council to obtain the approvals necessary
to authorize the show, we would like to make this offer
to you in anticipation of approval.
To share this special experience with
our neighbors before tickets go on sale to the general
public, we are inviting Lakeview residents to join Cubs
season ticket holders in a special ticket pre-sale.
Hurry, this pre-sale will end at 10 p.m. CT on
Friday.
You may purchase tickets for the
Wrigley Field stop of The Face 2 Face tour by clicking
the link below beginning Friday, February 13, at
noon. Tickets are first come, first served. Ticket
availability is limited.
Prices for the performance
are $175, $95 and $55 plus applicable fees and services
charges.
Tickets for the general public go
on sale Saturday February 14, 2009.
The
