Dear John,

As you may know, there will be a special primary election on March 3rd with a general election on April 7th, 2009 to fill the vacated 5th U.S. District Congressional Seat.  The Lake View Citizens' Council (LVCC) is pleased to sponsor a multi-party Candidates' Forum for this seat.
WHAT:      Candidates' Forum for 5th Congressional Seat
                                                         
WHERE:    Inter-American School, 851 W. Waveland (parking available at school)
 
WHEN:      5:00 - 7:00pm, Sunday, February 22, 2009 (doors open 4:30 pm)

Each candidate will make a brief opening statement and that will be followed by questions from the moderator, Ben Bradley from ABC 7 Chicago, and, time permitting, from the audience.  This event is FREE and open to the public.

Early Voting for Fifth Congressional District Primary - February 16 - 26, 2009
 
Early voting will be available to all registered voters for the Fifth Congressional District primary. You can participate in early voting at Lincoln Park Library, 1150 West Fullerton or at the Chicago Board of Elections, 69 West Washington. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday (downtown only), 9 AM to Noon. You will need a government-issued ID to participate in early voting.
