but Burley is turning up the HEAT! 

West Lakeview's own Burley Elementary School (1630 W. Barry) is vying for one of 10 $100,000 prizes being awarded through U.S. Cellular's "Calling All Communities" program. Burley has organized a massive campaign to win this national contest by garnering the most online votes. Since the contest began two months ago, Burley has seen its ranking climb to as high as 23 in recent weeks and was highlighted in U.S. Cellular's weekly press release as a school that has been moving up steadily. With no intention of slowing down, the school is asking for additional support from neighbors and local businesses.

How can you help? Stop in at any US Cellular Store to get a code to use online to vote for Burley. Voting takes about 2 minutes, and all you need to know is Burley Elementary School and zip code 60657. There is no purchase necessary to vote. But hurry - the last day to vote is Friday, Jan. 15!
